This is a working group tool that facilitates the generation of new ideas on a subject, in this case a name.
An idea, in Naming All Things, is a name that fits as closely as possible to the Promoter’s request. You have to understand the project description well enough to generate an idea. For questions to the Promoter, there is a section labelled “Ask a Question” on the project screen.
Apart from what is asked for in the description, the only other requirement is that it be original. If you have any questions, there is an option to send a question to the Promoter by clicking on the button labelled “Ask a Question” on the project screen.
The names contributed by different Users must have a certain degree of differentiation, that is, plagiarism is not acceptable (for example, “Hello” and “Hello!”). To prevent this from happening, there is a button labelled “Mark as inappropriate” that warns the Promoter. Obviously, insults and bad language are unacceptable. The Naming All Things team reserves the right to delete any contribution by any user.
Everyone is welcome to Naming All Things. Brainstorming works best if the User group is diverse.
There is no limit to the number of names you can contribute.
The person who contributes the name selected by the Promoter receives a 40% of the project fee. The person contributing the runner-up name earns 10%. Also, the Users with good judgement who voted for the winning name share out another 10%. Each new project adds 6% of the project fee to the draw, which is shared out at the end of the month to the most active Users.
For each project, each User has a total of 5 votes to distribute among the names that most caught their interest. At the end of the project, Users who voted for the name selected by the Promoter share 11% of the project fee. Votes are a way of helping the Promoter make their decision.
You can collect earnings by Paypal or bank transfer. The minimum amount that you can receive in payment is €30. Electronic or bank transfer commissions plus taxes from each project are paid by Users.
For residents outside the European Union, payment by Paypal is recommended. If you don’t have an account, you can register by clicking on the banners on the web site.
You just have to register, select an active project and contribute your names.
Obviously, the Promoter can see all the names, but the Promoter can choose to make the project either public or private. If the project is private, only the Promoter can see the names. If the project is public, all Users can see all the names. At the end of the project, only the Promoter will be able to see all the names in the project.
