What is a project?

A project is a work proposal formulated by the Promoter to the community with the aim of finding the most appropriate name.

What happens when a project is started?

When a project is created, an email is sent to the Promoter for verification. The verification process ensures that all the data provided are correct, enabling the project to be executed effectively. Once it has been approved, it is activated and the Users start their work.

What information must be included in the project?

Every project has a title (a short phrase describing the project), a description (this part expands on the title and gives guidelines to the Users. It should provide all the details relating to the name search, such as the subject matter, philosophy or other important information). Some additional data are also requested, for example, the maximum number of words allowed.

How long does a project take?

The project duration is selected by the Promoter when creating it, and can range from a minimum of 5 days to a maximum of 30 days. The longer the time, the more contributions can be provided by participants.

How much does a project cost?

A project costs €100 + VAT for an unlimited number of names. If you wish to increase the incentive to the Users by offering a higher amount, you may do so. Logically, the more money available, the higher the number of participants and the higher number of names provided.

How are the projects listed in the project table?

They are listed by date of completion. Those with the least time remaining will be at the top of the list.

I don’t want anyone else to see the names provided by the Users. Can anything be done?

Yes, a private project can be created. This feature doesn’t cost any more. A project can be made private if the Promoter thinks that the confidentiality of the name is more important than Users’ opinions and there is no voting. In this case, the money that would have been allocated through the voting process will be used to increase the monthly draw.

What payment methods can be used?

You can pay by Moneybookers, Paypal or bank transfer.

What happens when the time is up?

When the allocated time is up, the project is reviewed by the Promoter. The winners are selected at this point.

What happens if there are insufficient contributions by Users?

In this improbable case, a full refund is given to the Promoter if they are not satisfied and the number of names does not reach 50% of the payment made, that is, less than 50 names in a €100 project, less than 100 names in a €200 project, and so on.

Who are the winners?

The winners are those whose names meet the expectations of the project’s Promoter. One winner and one runner-up are chosen.
